When threatened

Blue ballpoints, bin one.
Black, bin two.
Red, three.
Green, four.
Purple ballpoints,
blue fountains:
there are only four bins.
Place on floor.
Stomp. Scoop. Discard.

Frightened, the world
careens out of control.
God forbid we get a bigger box.
